The Polaroid Corporation commissioned Michael Going to create a special portfolio of images with the new Alter Image Film. The project was inspired by Allen Verch of Polaroid. This instant film has a matt surface that makes it possible to apply colors with paints, pencils, pens, and brushes that adhere in a permanent way to the surface. All the images presented here were were both created and hand painted by Michael Going.
